Use the Bulldog Hardware Security Door Guard to see who is outside without fully opening the door. This security lock allows the door to be opened slightly to greet someone while the swing bar keeps the door partially closed. This privacy lock is designed for viewing and ventilation purposes on swing-in doors, so it is often used with other types of locks, such as deadbolts, to secure the door. The door will need to be fully closed for the swing bar to release and the door to unlock. Installation instructions can be found on the package and it is recommended the lock set be mounted out of children’s reach to help prevent unwanted opening. The door guard comes in a neutral satin nickel finish to complement your existing home hardware.
